Open Source Contributor License Agreements

Sustaining high-quality open community software projects and media content is a challenge. For example, the Narupa multi-person VR software project and the associated media which it produces is the result of nearly 10 years of R&D, representing a significant investment of time, energy, and financial resource.

We are excited to set projects like Narupa free into the intellectual commons, as open community tools. To support, improve, and extend open source projects, we need to support developers who can carry on maintaining the software & adding cool new features. To protect ourselves legally, we ask contributors to grant us a license to use their copyrighted contributions in the projects we support.
